How to be Confident

Anyone can learn how to be confident when dating girls. If you are shy, know the reasons. If you know the root of the problem, you will resolve the problem quickly. Here are some reasons why some men are shy about dating:

* Fear of rejection
* Low self-esteem
* Not good at making conversation
* Clueless about how to handle the opposite sex

Fear of Rejection
Rejection is a number game. We can't expect everyone to like us. Go for a group date with your more confident male friends. Their confidence will rub off on you. You will act more confidently in a group - it's a herd instinct. If you are lost for words, your friends will back you up.

Low Self-esteem
If you want to be confident, you have to feel good about who you are and the way you look. You may not be very good looking. Look is not everything. Even the Beast gets his Beauty. I don't think Mike Jagger is handsome either. Accept what nature has given you, but there are things you can change. If you are overweight, start losing some. If you are out of shape, go to the gym. If your dress sense is dated, sign up for a grooming course and go buy a few new clothes.

If you want others to like you, you have to like yourself first.

Not Good at Making Conversation
You may be shy because you are not good at making conversation. All you need is to start practicing. Smile at people you meet at the lift. Take every opportunity to chat with women anywhere e.g. over the store counter, at social events. People like to be talked to. Once you get used to talking with new people, chatting will come naturally.
